More than allowing light adjustment, the use of vertical blinds allow more control to the quantity and direction of light because these could be rotated in preferred directions. This happens through the rotating vanes which helps the slats be angled to protect the computer screens from excessive sunlight. This helps minimize glare and reduce eye strain. Through the blinds, distractions are also reduced because it covers the room from the environment outside. The precise adjustment of the slats to control the amount of light is also important to point out because, ultimately, it helps create a good, comfortable environment for a computer room setup.
